I think it can be seen as hotel having financial problems. It is not a common behaviour.

Stayed the weekend and had a very comfortable stay. Hotel is showing its age and can benefit from some renovation (new carpet, updated bathrooms etc) but very welcoming staff and an elaborate breakfast spread are a true positive!!!

Lara at the reception was wonderful and engaging. The rest not so much. The bed was cracked and there was a cigarette butt under our bed. This time, the water in the pool inside was colder . Breakfast options lovely as always. We continue coming back

I thought it was very good, especially the breakfast this morning. I was not so impressed with the evening meal.I thought there could have been better choice, it was a bit overpriced for the quality of food, and the service left a lot to be desired. I had to wait 30 minutes for an icecream. There were 2 swimming pools, an indoor & outdoor one. But the indoor one looked like it had seen better days. I did not use the outdoor one. My room was very good. It could have done with some updating, but overall good, a fridge & coffee machine, which I always look for. The wifi was not too good it kept going off. Altogether pretty good though. I may go back!

Outdoor and indoor pool were good, the room was larger than I expected and I was impressed with the size of it, the fridge in the room was very handy, we also appreciated the free water and tea/coffee in the room, the hotel is a little old-fashioned in terms of it's styling but that's not something that bothered us. It's in a good location, just a short walk to the town and there are a variety of restaurants to choose from there. I also went for a 10k run, and it was very enjoyable to run through the fields/forest, very pretty. Only issue was our key cards stopped working twice, both of them, and me and my husband kept them separate, so I can only assumed they had been programmed incorrectly, but this was a minor issue, just more a bit frustrating. The hotel really was very good value. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

Super friendly staff, from reception to cleaners and in the restaurant. Really making an effort to provide you a comfortable stay. I like their flexibility to arrive at any time (24 hours reception service) easy access next to the motorway and free parking in front of the door. A great bed in a spacious room with Airco, fast WiFi and the next morning a really good breakfast makes you fit for the next day. This hotel is not for design lovers and the bathrooms are clean but could use refurbishment with modern walk-in showers, but for the current price / quality it is a trusted, safe and comfortable place to stay overnight.

Well managed restaurant with professional personell. Kind and gentle receptionists, room cleaners and waiters. I would definitely stay there again, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Superb service!

We had a perfect night stay. Super close to the A5, service was phenomenal, rooms are spacious and clean. We ordered roomservice and it was there fast and tasted very good. We had a very pleasant experience

Excellent place to stay in Heidelberg! They are just great with pets and the rooms are big! Our husky enjoyed the surrounding area for walks and sniffing up rabbit boroughs! Dinner was 10/10 Looking forward to staying here again.
