We had a fantastic stay at the Leonardo hotel. Beautiful decor inside, clean room and friendly/ helpful staff. Our only negative is that our stay wasn't long enough!

The hotel was in a good position for the beach, dunes and nature park and had lovely marina and sea views. Staff were efficient and friendly. Dinner was delish and lots of choice for breakfast.

Nothing more to say - way more beautiful than expected ! The lobby is super stylish as well as the restaurant, rooms are huge (as two people we almost felt lost haha), breakfast was nice (American/Dutch style with small pancakes, bacon and egg e.g.). The staff was super sympathic and helpful . I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a very relaxed and slow time, it’s silent and you can go hiking around in the dunes and take walks at the beach. Many restaurants are close by- Asian food as well as Dutch :). (prices are higher than in Germany, watch out :D)

The staff at the Leonardo Seaport were very welcoming and hospitable at all times. They made the stay very enjoyable and were very responsive when any issue arose or questions were posed. Excellent job! Thanks again!

Thank you for the great service! The handicapped accessible room provided for us, offers a lot of space that you need even with a walker. There was only one small drawback. The mattress is too low. Even if you use the height adjustment, you have strong pressure from the edge of the bed at the back of the knees. It hurts when you get up. The food in the hotel is very tasty. The chefs surprised us with a great 4 course Valentine's menu ! At breakfast there was enough choice. There is something for everyone. 2 comments : Why is there no wheelchair ramp in the lower restaurant area ? Near the fireplace. And why are dogs so expensive. Why do I have to pay for a 4 kg small and just as much as for a 20 kg dog ? We have 2 small dogs, 40€ a day is a high price if you stay a few days !

The hotel makes a good impression at first sight. Unfortunately, the rooms are really very used. The door fittings are broken, the cheap laminate flooring is partially coming loose. Dust on the hairdryer, telephone and everything where you can not quickly drive over it with a vacuum cleaner. Blood stains on the Pillows.... The entire inventory is something for the bulky waste. However, the beds are very good and the hotel was quiet in November. The staff is very friendly, although mostly trainees are at the reception. The breakfast is good and extensive. We got the hotel very cheap, for the normal price for a room I would not have accepted the condition of the rooms.

The hotel and rooms are tidy en the breakfast is good. The staff is helpful and polite. Only the bathroom is a little outdated. The extra cost for a dog in the room and for parking is a little bit high (in total €31,- a day).

We had a wonderfull stay at Leonardo Hotel Ijmuiden. The view from the rooms is spectacular and the staff is very friendly and helpfull

All in all a very nice hotel which was recommended to be by the contact I had to meet. The rooms are very big and the bed very comfortable. I would say that only the toilet and the bathroom may require a bit of renovation. Restaurant food was very good.

After spending almost all of the Spring, Summer & beginnings of Autumn at Leonardo due to work, it was nice to be treated as part of the hotel 'family'. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional, I enjoyed the daily interaction with all staff and my stay was made as comfortable as possible with extra touches to make me feel welcome. I will be booking Leonardo again for my 2022 season.

A very good place stay … Very friendly

Very impressed with the staff at this hotel. Ingrid greeted us when we arrived after a 17 hour car journey and very kindly helped us get some food sorted for our dog! The night porter (sorry I can’t remember name) was also very friendly and personable. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we arrived as we were looking forward to a nice meal after a very long day. The night porter got us pizza which actually was quite nice. When checking out, we were having difficulty finding a taxi available who would take our dog and us to the ferry. Wendy on reception was trying but said if she could not get us a taxi that she would take us in her car. How sweet is that?? We were finally able to get a car but were really impressed with her kind offer. Only con - Great that it is a dog friendly “hotel” but unfortunately pets can't go in any area of the restaurant or bar. Maybe should advertise dog friendly rooms........ Overall a good stay!

Perfect service. Clean comfortable rooms.

We were looking out on the harbor from the 3th floor and especially when the sun goes under it was a magnificent view, a view to a kill.

+Nice restaurant and bar +Parking in front +Nice views from room -bar had no complete stock - (bath) room and balcony weren’t clean - receptionist at check- out wasn’t the brightest one

Especially the staff was very good. Like A host or a hostess should be. The room was as it should be, Just the direction of the shower could better.. The view on the harbour was beautiful.
